New Office

January 13th, 2006 by accidental

The last few days were spent packing, boxing, and trashing everying on site. And now we’re finally here! Our brand spanking new office is very fine, though i did miss out on a window seat. My work station is all set up and i’m back online again.

And knowing that, i think it’s time for me to look for new work. I think 4 years has been long enough, and as Samson puts it, it’s time for a change of scenery.

Speaking of which, Tam will soon be leaving for the UK to join Samson and Rufa in their jolly adventures. Oh, and she has a blog too, check it out.

Don’t Panic

January 5th, 2006 by accidental

Okay, no need to hit the panic button, all is well again. The stuff has arrived safely. Back to being my normal paranoid self.

Documents

January 5th, 2006 by accidental

Where the hell are my documents? If they are not with Australia Post and they are not with the Lenders, then they are…i rather not say the word. Do show up documents, you are very important and very urgent and almost irreplaceable! Shit happens, always.

Happy New Year

January 3rd, 2006 by accidental

Hey, i hope everyone out there had a funtastic holiday, i certainly did.

Driving to work this morning was very strange, i knew i was going to work, and somehow i didn’t. I just sorta sub-consciously drove the roads i do everyday without thinking about it, in a kinda semi-automatic fashion. Things are quiet here in the office, not everyones back yet and there are only a few of us who actually came in.

In other news, i will be mailing the documents for my home loan later today. I hope it arrives safely and gets processed el prompto by the lender dudes!

Home Office

December 30th, 2005 by accidental

Fadrian wants me to tell the world about his home office, about his ‘portable’ desk and his ‘portable’ laptop. He wishes the world to know that he wakes up at 9am and walks a few meters to his office in the next room. Now isn’t that nice? Today i asked him what time he finishes work, he gave me a funny look and laughed at me. As i write this, he is asking me from the comfort of his high-back recliner and the climate controlled air conditioning how often i update my blog. Now isn’t that nice. He wears shorts and a South Park T-Shirt while sipping ice cold Sunkist and munching on his favourite snacks. Now that’s nice isn’t it? Enough of that.

Today is hot. Tommorow is hotter, 42 degrees celsius of hotness in fact. What on earth am i supposed to do tommorow. I can’t think of what else to say. Oh, i hope you had a merry Christmas and an even happier new year. See ya all next year.

Samson’s New Blog

December 23rd, 2005 by accidental

Hey, I have a good old friend who is currently on a working holiday in London at the moment, he’s been there for 2 weeks now, and looking for work. If any of you recruiters out there are looking for a kick ass programming, hire him! Anyways, he’s gonna keep the world up to date with his adventures via his freshly created blog, do check it out!

Oh also, i should probably annouce to the world that i have finally bought myself an apartment. More details in future updates!

King Kong

December 21st, 2005 by accidental

Hey, i watched King Kong last night. It didn’t finish until 1am so i felt rather ordinary this morning when i got up for work. Before watching the movie, someone mentioned in their blog how Naomi Watts has her mouth half open throughout most of the movie, and i couldn’t help noticing this. This annoyed me a little, but not as much as the boy next to me who kept stuffing his face with popcorn, ice cream, slurpee and other stuff belonging to the junk food category.

It’s been pretty smooth sailing so far, things are going well on a few fronts. Hope this carries on to next year!

Current Happenings

December 1st, 2005 by accidental

Okay alot has happened since the last updated. There were beautiful weddings, fun parties and an impulsive trip to Adelaide. Oh also, i got into another car accident yesterday, just meters away from home, but it’s okay nobody got hurt. Some people have asked me what i had felt when my car got hit. My initial thoughts were “Not Again”.

Hey i was just wondering, if you meet yourself, what would you think of you? What would your first impression be of yourself? Would you like you, not ‘you’ you but the other you?

We Love Katamari

November 7th, 2005 by accidental

It’s been a while since my last post, and like i had predicted to myself i didn’t keep to my plan of posting more frequently and in smaller doses. But that doesn’t mean i won’t try in the future. What i need is a more streamlined way of updating, cos at the moment there are just too many links and logins that i need to go through before i actually type anything. Maybe i’ll look into migrating to another blog site.

Something is troubling me, and i don’t know exactly what it is. It’s just a lingering feeling that sorta just hangs around and pops up it’s stupid head every now and then to remind me that there is something wrong, something that i should be exerting energy on just by thinking about.

Could the reason behind the troubling thoughts be because a few of my friends will be leaving for overseas in the next couple of monthes with no definite return date. Or could it be the godzillian things on my compiled ‘to do list’ that i should to get around to doing but keep putting off cos i’m such a lazy sloth and the longer i do nothing about the list the longer the list gets. Or maybe it’s because i just want to so badly play Katamari Damacy on PS2 but know that it won’t be released here in Oz until next year and that is too long to wait just for a stupid computer game. Yes that could be it.

Hey, i didn’t get the job in Opera! Yes, all that time spent on telephonic interviews, assessments, contemplating and blogging was all for nothing. Well it did make for a resourceful topic to write about. I also know a little more about Norway now and i do take more notice of everything Norwegian.

It’s kinda wierd. You know how there are words which are very specific in its use and so you may not necessary come across or use that word in your daily life. But all of a sudden this word takes a place at the foreground of your conscious thought and you start noticing that word more than you normally would and you’re like: Wow! That word must be much more common than i had previously thought and all this time i was just filtering out that word in my head without even knowing it. Well yeah, that’s how i feel about Norway now, it’s just like that.

Sometimes i should keep my mouth shut, it works better for me that way.
